It’s that time of year again Modhemians! Time to shower your favorite person in the world with pretty thoughtful things. Show appreciation for the woman who gave you LIFE and set you up on the foundation from which you can attribute your success. It’s the one day where she can feel the love, like really feel the love and to be selfish enough to accept every nice gesture that comes her way. What better way to show reciprocated love, from which she has doled out all day, every day, then with material things! Just kidding, but really, we can all appreciate a little something special from the people we love, on the one day set aside to acknowledge the powerhouse that is, MOM.

Here is a curated Modhemian round up of my most coveted pieces out there now. Things she can appreciate both as a modern bohemian women and as a mother.

2. Gigi Pip Bre Straw Hat - The sun is coming and we all need to protect our beautifully aging faces from the sun and this beige stray hat is the perfect neutral basic for any bad, or good hair day for that matter.

3. Mejuri Open Diamonds ring- I love to collect and stack dainty gold rings and this is a perfect addition to any every day adornment. They act as little reminders or milestones of special dates throughout the years, a daily reminder of how much you’re appreciated and how old you are ; )

4. J.Hannah Classic Cigar Ring - Same thought as above but just a little higher quality. Love the thickness of this and the options of gold or silver.

5. Pottery Barn Evolve Abstract - Perhaps the one thing more important than the subject of art, is how you acquired it and why not from your family as a Mothers Day gift. This is a great size and a neutral mellow tone so could work in any room. Go PB, didn’t know you had it in you.

6. Etsy Mid Century Wood Block Print - Same thought as above but a bit more budget friendly. Kind of a Blockshop rip off but still gorgeous at that.

7. Raen Remmy Sunglasses - IDK about you but I love sunnies as a gift. Nice to have a few in rotation or as a back up when you inevitably loose or break your current pair. A good gift is something you would never buy myself that makes you feel chic AF and that you’ll actually use.

8. St Agni Pool Slide Dune - THE PERFECT SUMMER SANDAL. Soft leather, snug fit, neutral palette and laid back for every day and every errand. Nice to replace your shit kicking sandals every year or two and these are perfection.

9. Jenni Kayne Alpaca THrow - Young or old, no women in their right mind would turn their nose up at alpaca cashmere, especially as a blankie, come on. This is a no brainer.

10. Chloe Alphabet Ring - Again with the gold rings, I know, but these are fab and you can never have enough statement jewelry. Also like how you can personalize.

11. Christy Dawn Paloma Dress - This dress, this color, this silhouette, this label. Perfect flowy go to dress for lounging, errands, or date night. Whether you’re cooking a baby or fighting back after baby, this dress will make any mom feel pretty. That’s all we really want right?

12. Jenni Kayne Laurel Suede Bag- Every Modhemian needs a good bag and this mossy suede with its shoulder strap is just the ticket. Obsessed with the color and that its big enough to throw a diaper in but not big enough where you’re stuck lugging the whole family’s crap around. Win Win.

13. Seville Smith Leather Mules - The shoe du jour. If she doesn’t have a pair, she needs them. Period.

14. Elizabeth Suzanne Clyde Trouser - Love a good tailored pant but if you’re not into the wide leg, these linen blend tapered gals are the BOMB! Oh, and elastic waistband….need I say more.

15. Bando Rattan Earings - For the ladies with their cute bobs that need ear candy, these rattan hoops are super fun and will go with literally any outfit in her closet.

16. And Other Stories Straw Tote - Another bag, not as practical as the afore mentioned, but still chic nonetheless. Who says all gifts have to be practical?
